Sweetchi
Design & front-end
- Objective
- Give a dessert brand a warm, inviting home online: its story, its menu, reservations, news and a shop.
- Architecture
- A hand-built static site: semantic sections for story, recipes, menu and reservations, with an image-led layout.
- Crew
- Solo: design and build.
- Outcome
- A complete brand site with clear calls to action for reservations and the menu.
Sweetchi is a storefront website for a dessert brand. The brief was to make a visit feel like walking into the shop: warm, image-led, and always one step away from booking a table.
What it does
- Tells the brand's story, with an "Our Story" section and an about page
- Shows the recipes and the menu as an image gallery, with a link to the full menu
- Leads to reservations from the hero and from the "Chocolate Delight" feature
- Keeps visitors coming back with news, a shop and a newsletter sign-up
How it's built
A hand-built static site: semantic HTML sections, CSS for the layout, and JavaScript where interaction was needed. No framework, so it loads fast on any connection.
